The Home Buying Process - Step – by – step process
The Process of buying a home can be daunting even if it isn’t your first time.
The process outlined below is designed to help you better understand the many steps involved and how we work to tie them all together.
Step 1:
Contact the Steven Murphy Real Estate Team to schedule an appointment to discuss your needs and priorities. We will introduce you to PCR Home Services and explain how it can help you every step of the way.
Step 2:
If you have not already arranged for financing, an appointment will be made to meet with one of our PCR Mortgage Services loan officers. At that meeting we will discuss Prudential Carruthers’ exclusive “Homebuyer Premium Rewards Package”. This package includes PCR Mortgage Services, PCR Settlement Services and PCR Warranty Services. You will learn about all of the advantages of this exciting program and become pre-approved.
Step 3:
Receive information on available properties that meet your needs in search for your perfect home with the experienced assistance of your Steven Murphy Real Estate Team real estate agent. Your agent will show you homes at your convenience that meet your criteria and offer a good value.
Step 4:
Submit an offer with the assistance of your Steven Murphy Real Estate Team real estate agent and relax while your agent negotiates with the seller’s agent on your behalf.
Step 5:
Once your offer has been accepted and signed, Leslie Gendimenico, the Closing Department Manager will assit with arranging all the necessary inspections and begin the closing process. Your mortgage company initiates the loan process and orders a home appraisal. This is also the time to select your title company.
Step 6:
Once your home loan is officially approved, you may obtain the required homeowner’s insurance through PCR Insurance Services. You and your agent take one last walk-through of the house before settlement.
Step 7:
Settlement day arrives. Your Steven Murphy Real Estate Team real estate professional and your settlement company are by your side while all documents are signed. The transaction is finalized and proceeds are distributed and your receive the keys to your new home.
Step 8:
The house is yours. Rest assured that the Steven Murphy Real Estate Team will continue to provide support for all of your future real estate needs.
